The Guest Rooms

Pricing

From £95 per night for 2 people in double or single beds provided, for extra people. A minimum of 2 nights during the week, 3 nights over the weekend. Discount of 15% for 7 nights or more..

We have made the Guest Rooms at Bodynfoel Hall a fully self catered apartment, with sitting room and kitchenette, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and another bedroom available on request. There is also a folding sofa bed that kids may wish to sleep on to be closer to their parents. Owing to the abundance of sheep and lambs in the fields we are very sorry but we can NOT allow dogs, how ever well behaved.

If staying off grid in one of our glamping spaces doesn’t appeal then you may prefer the comfort of ‘The Guest Rooms’ with it’s own unique and charming vintage style. There is a lovely double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower, and in the sitting room WiFi, TV and DVD player for entertainment with a fully fitted kitchen along one side.

You will have your own entrance and can come and go as you please, with everything you need whether you make it your base to explore the region, maybe take a trip to the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Or to stay right here and enjoy the areas of the garden reserved for Guests to wander in or enjoy oodles of long walks in the surrounding countryside, but do also have a look at the ‘Things to see and do’ page for other ideas.

‘The Guest Rooms’ are a self catering accommodation so please bring your own food that you can cook on a modern induction hob, or electric oven, all necessary utensils provided. Tea, coffee and sugar are usually available, but we do encourage our guests to come equipped with their own preferred beverages. The water is UV filtered, so please resist the urge to bring plastic water bottles.

‘The Guest Rooms’ are priced for two people sleeping in a double bed, from only £80.00 p/n, but there is another bedroom, down one floor with two single beds. Extra guests, (or children), will cost £15 each per night, per bed. Younger children can sleep in a sofa-bed next door to their parents, if they prefer. Please understand that if more than one bed is used we will have to charge the extra £15pn, per bed.

We encourage our guests to conserve water, use less plastic where possible and recycle as much as they can during their stay.

A small word of warning for those not used to stairs, as there are 30 of them divided by a landing half way up, in case you need a rest :-).

Please see our calendar for availability and seasonal pricing, and to make a booking.

What our guests say

We truly had a wonderful time - the kids loved it so much and so did we - being free from hectic school and work life and muddy really is good for you haha! and I am not sure what is was (maybe the lovely dark wood and the curtain over the bin space, and I  hope you don't take this the wrong way as she was a very beautiful, animal loving and un granny like nan haha., but your guest rooms really gave me a nostalgic feeling of staying in my Nan's flat in London years ago, a place I don't half miss so that just added to my enjoyment of the place.

The information guide about the premises and also the village and what we can do on day trips etc is nicely put together and so very useful. we had a truly wonderful time. special thanks to Richard & Flavia for personally greeting us during checkin/checkout and the delicious farm eggs. Would love to go back again.

We had a wonderful three days in the guest rooms at Bodynfoel Hall. The rooms were just as described and very spacious and comfortable. The Estate was beautiful with lots of walking potential and things to see. The Fossil quarry was fascinating! You made us feel very welcome in your home. The location is brilliant for visiting other local beauty spots such as Lake Vyrnwy too. We will recommend you to others and hopefully visit again in the future.

We had a lovely weekend and will definitely be back. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world. We went to Malta last year and Charlie tells me that he prefers Wales! We look forward to seeing you again and will recommend Bodynfoel Hall to our friends.

We had a lovely 2 days at Bodynfoel Hall in the Guest Rooms - it was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. The grounds were stunning - lots to explore and lots to keep the kids busy. Richard & Flavia were really helpful and insightful giving us tips of what to do in the area. We'd definitely recommend a stay here and hope to go back again in future. Melanie

We had a lovely break and Bodynfoel hall and would thoroughly recommend - there is plenty to do just within the estate (the swing and the boat on the pond were highlights) but it is also really well situated for exploring Wales/Shropshire. The apartment is perfect for friends, couples and families and has a well equipped kitchen for cooking. Richard and Flavia were both very friendly and accommodating despite us messing up and not sending them an ETA! We'd love to go back and stay in one of their yurts (we got a chance to look inside Jericho yurt and it was stunning!).

“This AIR BNB is for those who ideally want to kick back & relax. Switch off TV, Internet & Mobile Phones .... like they did before all that stuff was invented. Walk the wonderful grounds. Sit & read in the gardens or by the lake & absorb the surrounding amazing views & nature. PS: Helps if the weather is kind to you also. Replace 5 star luxury with 5 star Chillaxation :)” May 2019

We had a lovely relaxing family Easter weekend staying at Bodynfoel Hall. The grounds are beautiful and there are lots of fabulous walks around the estate. We really enjoied the added extras like the treasure hunt around the grounds, the boating pond and the swings, the weather was so good we didn't need to go elsewhere. The estate is really peaceful and surrounded by wildlife. Richard and Flavia are lovely hosts and recommended some great places to eat and to visit. There are lost of lovely pubs around too!
